
About the Role
-Plan, shoot and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook
-Create content that showcases student projects, robotics builds, class moments, competitions and behind the scenes
-Write strong hooks and scripts that speak to parents and students and turn views into trial class bookings
-Own the content calendar and post consistently across all platforms
-Capture footage at classes, events and competitions such as Malaysia RoboCup
Use AI video tools and motion graphics to produce faster and add polish
-Track performance such as views, engagement and conversions, then improve based on the data
-Adapt content across English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese for wider reach
Requirements
A portfolio or showreel of short-form video work
Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or After Effects
A sharp sense of hooks, storytelling, trends and pacing for social media
Understanding of how each platform and its algorithm rewards content
Able to shoot and edit independently and direct students or teachers on camera
Self-driven, organised and consistent with deadlines
Comfortable working in English; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a strong plus
Bonus: AI video generation tools, motion graphics, photography or copywriting
